Well it seems Breyden is a lot more resilient than his car. Shortly after driving down from Salmon Arm and leaving the car with his mom and step dad, the car promptly refused to run any more. (and by shortly I mean about 15 minutes later... great timing!!!)
The car was taken to Pemberton Auto Services where Chris checked it out, and found it not really repairable but kindly stored it for us for a few weeks. After hearing Breyden's story, Sean Tamaki of Tamaki Services bought the car for $200.00, which will go towards Breyden's food etc for the trip. He also donated $20 towards the fundraising goal.
